The PED-Blue accurately measures X-ray and gamma radiation

The Tracerco PED-Blue Personal Electronic Dosimeter (PED) has been specifically developed to address this challenge, providing simple, real-time radiation monitoring for users wherever ionising radiation may be present. It accurately measures X-ray and gamma radiation while continuously displaying both accumulated dose and dose rate measurements.
Keeping compliant with IRR17
The PED’s simple design makes it particularly suitable for personnel who may not be specifically trained or familiar with radiation detection but still require reliable personal dose monitoring. This includes:

Simple but tough
A single button is used to navigate the PED, allowing users to access settings and configure alarm thresholds quickly and easily. When preset dose levels are reached, users are alerted by flashing LEDs and audible, vibrating alarms.
All of this is housed in a rugged, polymer case designed to withstand impacts and shocks, allowing it to be used reliably in all environments. Despite this toughness, the PED is lightweight, can fit into your pockets, and last for up to 300 hours on a single charge.
Generate a comprehensive audit trail to review historical exposure
Tracerco's DoseVision software is included with the PED-Blue, allowing dose rates to be recorded and analyzed.
The PED includes Tracerco's DoseVision software, compatible with Windows. This allows organizations to create and manage individual user profiles, monitor cumulative dose records and restrict access to settings to prevent unauthorised changes.
It records timestamped dose rate data, creating detailed exposure histories showing exactly when radiation exposure occurred. This provides a comprehensive audit trail, allowing employees to identify tasks or working practices associated with elevated dose rates, meaning employees implement procedures to reduce occupational exposure.
