> The RAVIN CAM can be used for CPS, doses rates, isotope identification, and measured energy spectrum.
> It is proven to be x3 faster at source localisation than traditional GM probes.
> By overlaying heat maps onto images and videos, users can quickly identify sources of contamination in areas such as lot labs, wards, patient toilets, and hospital corridors.
Designed for nuclear medicine technologists and medical physicists
The M3D RAVIN CAM is a new radiation survey meter for Nuclear Medicine, Imaging, and Radiology Departments. It provides traditional Counts Per Second (CPS) and dose rates as well as isotope identification and measured energy spectrum.
The handheld meter overlays a radiation heat map on an optical image or a live video stream, allowing sources of contamination in a room or ward to be localised x3 faster than conventional GM probes. This allows nuclear medicine technologists and medical physicists to work quickly and safely.
Identify radiation hazards quickly
During incidents such as spills, extravasations or unexpected exposures, the RAVIN’s imaging capabilities provide vital clarity, enabling issues to be identified and resolved rapidly. Although it is a safety device, its real value lies in helping departments and wards streamline routine daily tasks. It can be used for:
- Contamination surveys
- Decontamination procedures
- Routine radiation surveys

Key applications
At just 2.3 kg, the RAVIN CAM is lightweight and portable, making it ideal for busy hospital environments. It supports a range of functions including:
- Dose rate surveys to support safe patient discharge.
- Localise radiation sources quickly to reduce exposure.
- Isotope identification.
- Obtain high-resolution images and spectroscopy for detailed analysis.
- Image contamination at distances of up to 50 ft, minimizing the risk of unknown exposure.
