HRH The Princess Royal visits the LabLogic Group

HRH The Princess Royal unveils a plaque to commemorate her visit to the LabLogic Group's head office in Sheffield.

The visit recognised the Group's awarding of The King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade

The LabLogic Group was honoured to welcome Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal to its head office, Innovation House in Sheffield, in recognition of being awarded The King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade, the UK’s most prestigious business accolade.

The visit marked a proud moment in the company’s history, celebrating LabLogic’s continued international success and commitment to innovation in sectors including nuclear medicine, nuclear power, defence, and drug discovery.

HRH The Princess Royal was welcomed by Group Chairman John Clapham and Managing Director Richard Brown and accompanied by the Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire, Professor Dame Hilary Chapman DBE, who had previously presented the King’s Award to the company in 2024.

During the visit, Her Royal Highness was given a guided tour of the facilities and met team members from across the LabLogic Group, including Southern Scientific, Knight Imaging, and Care Wise. She engaged with staff to learn more about their roles and the Group’s contributions to science, technology, and healthcare.

Demonstrations of LabLogic’s instrumentation and software, including systems for gamma spectrometry and radio-TLC, were also provided, offering insight into how the company’s solutions are used globally in nuclear medicine and radiation detection.

The King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade recognises exceptional and sustained growth in overseas sales. LabLogic’s achievement reflects its position as a global leader in its field and its dedication to delivering innovative technologies that support critical sectors around the world.
