Southern Scientific is the new UK distributor for QUART
Southern Scientific is pleased to announce itself as the new UK distributor for German radiological QA instrument manufacturer QUART. Since 1974, QUART have specialised in the design and manufacture of X-ray test phantoms and meters featuring solid-state detection technology, independently developed for the medical imaging industry. QUART was the first manufacturer to introduce solid-state technology to X-ray detectors instead of using traditional ionisation chambers.
Models available for all X-ray applications
QUART have designed a wide range of models suited for all X-ray applications such as Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Dental, CT, and Mammography.
The QUART nonius digital X-ray ruler is a precise measuring instrument used to verify size and geometrical properties of X-ray fields. It can also be used to analyze characteristics of fanned X-ray beams used in CT or dental panoramic X-ray.
The QUART didoNEO R is a compact X-ray multi-meter that features the smallest and thinnest multi-parameter detector available. It also has the lightest multifunctional base unit ever designed for the industry. It allows measurements in limited space, for instance, behind scatter radiation grids to determine the equipment attenuation factor.
The QUART didoEASY dosemeter series are designed for users who require high precision in dosimetric applications but do not need the performance of a full-range dosemeter package. It can be used to measure parameters that are essential for service and QA operations on X-ray equipment such as dose, dose rate, and time with maximum precision.
