The CORAPI portal can detect traces of contamination in any person leaving an access-controlled area or site within a nuclear facility. CORAPI uses 4 plastic scintillation γ detectors that cover a large area. It is designed for a quick and reliable control, with a very low activity detection minimum threshold.
The measurement time is automatically adjusted regarding the desired performance and the background. Gamma performance, regardlessto the person's body type, is optimum.
The CORAPI portal includes also a quick entrance and exit doorsystem, to reduce the time spent through the portal.
