ShortLINK / SkyLINK systems allow the transmission of measured data via radio/wireless transmission. As part of a proxy radiological monitoring network, these units can transmit measurement data from autonomous probes (such as GammaTRACER probes), across a distance of up to 100 km to a remote supervision system, running data visualisation and processing software. The flexibility of the set-up allows a surveillance system to be deployed in very little time, especially useful in the incident of an emergency situation.
